News & Events

Buk bilong Pikinini is very excited to introduce our very first readers made for and with the children of PNG! The books entitled "Our Village: Tatana Island" and "Buk bilong Koki Markets" have been compiled in partnership with celebrated Australian Author and Illustrator Alison Lester, Publisher of WildDog books Andrew Kelly and the children coming to our libraries at Koki Markets and Tatana Island. These books have been developed to ensure that Buk bilong Pikinini library shelves carry more culturally appropriate books that the children can relate to.
