Donate to Buk bilong Pikinini
There are many ways you can help Buk bilong Pikinini achieve our mission to make more Papua New Guinean children literate.
You can purchase books published by Buk bilong Pikinini. We currently have three titles available:
1) Reader: Buk bilong Koki Markers, illustrated and told by the children coming to our Koki Markets library. Produced with the assistance of Children's Author and Illustrator Alison Lester and Wild Dog Books (Publisher).
2) Reader: Our Village: Tatana Island, photographed and told by the children coming to our Tatana Island library. Produced with the assistance of Wild Dog Books.
3) Picture book: Oa the grasshopper and Kaipa the Caterpillar, Crocodile Award winning story by Iriani Wanma and illustrated by artist Marlon Kuelinad.
All books will be sent out by our Canberra office.
The Community Donation Box contains more than 30 new or as new books for children of all age groups. The box will be delivered from the BbP Head Office to a school community.
You can help us establish more libraries, help us improve our Literacy Based Learning programmes, donate materials for the children to use during craft time or help pay for the salary of a Teacher-Librarian.
If you are a corporate donor please consider our Sponsorship Package where you can also enter at all levels. All donations are greatly appreciated.
