Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) is excited to partner with Lae Biscuit Company (LBC) to bring to life a new reader titled “When I Grow Up I Want to be a Factory Manager.”
This new title joins BbP’s much-loved “When I Grow Up” series, which now includes 30 books showcasing a wide range of careers, all designed to spark curiosity and inspire young children to dream about their future.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) was honoured to receive a grant of more than K50,000 from the Australian Government, through their Direct Aid Program (DAP). The announcement was made by the Australian Consulate-General in Lae, Mr Brenton Kanowski, to support essential infrastructure upgrades and learning enhancements at the St Steven Library Learning Centre (LLC) and St Steven Elementary School.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) is pleased to announce the extension of its Breakfast Program, following a successful 3-month pilot last year and another 6-month earlier this year at one of the organisations’ Library Learning Centres where 257 students participated. The pilot, which was subject to extensive monitoring and evaluation showed very positive results in supporting student focus and learning in the classroom.
