National Day of Disabled Person

We are today celebrating National Day of Disabled Persons! Our Inclusive Education Officer Noah Agino has been busy reading his story ‘I am Noah’ of growing up with a hearing impairment to the children at our LLCs.

Pictured with Noah is Jonathan, who also has a hearing impairment and to the right Rena, who has mild Autism. Both children are doing really well in the BbP ECE program and both love to read and learn.

Our programs are inclusive and we welcome children with disabilities to learn alongside everyone else. The theme for this year is “Transformative solutions for Inclusive Development - the role of innovation in fuelling an accessible and equitable society.” The children at our LLCs had a great time learning to count in sign language and understanding the importance of being inclusive. A great thank you to our Platinum sponsor the Sir Brian Bell Foundation for sponsoring our Inclusive Education program.
