Hastings Deering

We have today thanked Hastings Deering for more than ten years of support with safe storage for our donated books. Hastings Deering have generously made space available at their compound so our team can safely access and store our books and learning materials which have been shipped in from Australia. Our Executive Officer Leanne Resson presented Bryan Wareing - Sales and Marketing Manager and Natalie Bola - Administration Supervisor with a certificate of appreciation. Buk bilong Pikinini has in its 15 years of operation brought more than 1,5 million books to PNG and being able to safely store these has allowed us to supply not only our Library Learning Centres but also hundreds of school libraries across the country.

Hastings Deering also assisted with the establishment of our UPNG LLC and has been providing shelving for the containers. We are looking forward to coming back soon on a field trip with the children to launch ‘When I grow up I want to be a Heavy Equipment Operator’. We could not be more grateful for this outstanding long-term support!
