The Australian Federal Police donates books to Buk bilong Pikinini
It is not every day, a Royal Australian Airforce C17 Globemaster arrives with a book donation for Buk bilong Pikinini.
Thanks to the PNG-AFP partnership, AFP Detective Superintendent Steve Hulbert, presented Buk bilong Pikinini with 2 pallets of books to support the organisations’ program, which sees the establishment of Library Learning Centres and donations of library kits to schools across the country. Detective Superintendent Hulbert said: he would like to acknowledge the assistance provided by the many people who helped to coordinate these books including the RAAF for transporting them. AFP are pleased to be able to help families of children in PNG.
