Tugboat Captain

We are so excited to be producing a reader book in our ‘When I Grow Up’ series with inspirational Tugboat Captain - Mate Class 4 - Michelle Boyama as our role model. We are sure that the children will love to learn from girl-boss Michelle what it takes to operate a tug boat. We got a sense of it on our pre-photoshoot visit to Pacific Towing on Motukea Island and are so impressed as there are so many things you need to take into account when operating such a powerful vessel. We are able to produce this reader series thanks to financial support from the Sir Brian Bell Foundation and editing with @wilddogbooks .We are greatly looking forward to Book Week in August when we will be launching six new titles to add to the series - more on this coming very soon.
